A crash in Hunslet blocked access to the M621 this morning.
due to the crash, involving a white Audi A1 and a red Honda Civic, on the A61 Hunslet distributor.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 7.10am and continue to deal with the incident. No serious injuries have been reported.
There were queues on the A61 as drivers tried to get to the M621 and Leeds city centre.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police issued this statement: "At 7.10am today, police were called to a road traffic collision on the A61 at Hunslet near to junction 4 of the M621.
"A white Audi A1 and a red Honda Civic were involved.
"The incident blocked the road causing disruption to traffic . Officers are currently at the scene dealing with the incident.
"There are no serious injuries reported."
