There are delays on the M66 and A56 in Bury this morning.
Traffic is currently backed up on the southbound carriageway of the motorway heading towards the M60 at junctions one and two.
It is understood the tailbacks were caused by an earlier crash at Simister Island (M60 junction 18).

There is also a lane closed on the entry slip road at junction 2 for Rochdale Road due to a broken down car.
One lane is closed heading from the roundabout towards the motorway.
The A56 Manchester Road is partially blocked in both directions following a multi-vehicle accident at Radcliffe Road.
Congestion is back to Whitefield.
Elsewhere, there are also delays on the M60m clockwise at junction 8 for Carrington - again due to a broken down car.
