Canines, start your engines - RuPaws Dog Race is coming to Salford to find Greater Manchester's most fabulous hound on the dog-walk.
Owners are being encouraged to dress their pets for an epic competition in a bid to be crowned the most glitz and glammed up pup.
The event - raising money for LGBT+ mental health support charity Mind Out - will be held at Seven Bro7thers Middlewood Locks Beerhouse, on Thursday, September 9 from 7pm, with tickets costing £3.
A 'dog walk' will take place at 7.45pm, and while pups won't be lip syncing for their life, there will be prizes for the best dressed and two runners-up.
It will be followed by a night of fabulous drag entertainment from Mars Montana and Heiress Blackstone.
The first prize winner will receive a £40 voucher for Seven Bro7hers; second place will be awarded a treat box courtesy of Manchester dog deli, Betty & Butch, followed by a fetching rainbow lead for third place.

Two marvellous Maltipoos – Belle and Minnie – have posed in stunning sparkly costumes with Manchester drag legend Liquorice Black to mark the launch of the one-of-a-kind event.
Eoin Thomas, Community and Events Lead at Get Living’s New Makers Yard, running the event, said: “Whether your dog is primed and ready for the pup-arazzi or a little ruff around the edges, we’re calling on all dog owners in the area to take part in this fabulous event!
“Like all Get Living neighbourhoods, New Maker Yards is completely pet-friendly, so we wanted to celebrate that and give our resident pooches a chance to shine as part of this month’s Drag events, as well as to keep the Pride celebrations going.”
Those looking to head to the event should book their place here and email events@getliving.com if they would like their dog to participate.
