RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Fans cancelled tonight because presenter can't get there

A TV show tonight has been cancelled as one of the presenters can't get there due to the train chaos in the South West.

Great Western Railway has announced that heavy rain and flooding has resulted in "all lines blocked" between Westbury and Pewsey, with multiple cancellations in place. You can follow our liveblog on the train problems here.

And it has now been announced that RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Fans has been cancelled tonight as one of the presenters can't get there.

Host Charlie Sayce was due to be joined by Bristol comedian Jayde Adams for tonight's show.

RuPaul's Drag Race UK Fans tweeted earlier this evening: "Racers.. we are so sorry but due to technical issues (ghosts in the machine… on Halloween!).. this weeks episode will NOT be on air at 7pm Hopefully @GlitterBeamUK can find a time to air it at a later date, we will keep you upto date!"

And then Jayde Adams tweeted: "It’s all my fault. Well mine, bad internet and flooding on the train tracks."

Host Charlie Sayce also tweeted about this, saying he was gutted.

He said: "Gutted about this guys but tonight’s show will no longer be airing at 7pm Hopefully it’ll be on @GlitterBeamUK this week, I’ll let you know more when I do! Big sorry from @jaydeadams and I… we will be back soon!"

In a tweet, Great Western Railway said: "Due to heavy rain and flooding the railway between Westbury and Pewsey, all lines are blocked.

"Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or diverted via Swindon. Disruption is expected until 7pm today."

The issue is affected trains heading through the South West to almost every destination, as well as to Wales.

At the same time, the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the South West due to heavy rain and high winds.
