RuPaul's Drag Race star Baga Chipz has revealed that her dream role would be in Coronation Street and she'd much rather pick that over a Hollywood movie.
The 31-year-old television star, who came third in the first ever UK season of Drag Race, has seen her career soar to new heights ever since she appeared on the show.
Known for her impressive acting and comedy skills, Baga has now admitted that she'd much rather have a spot on the ITV soap than win an Oscar and would even settle for a cameo role.
It comes shortly after Baga Chipz' Season 1 co-star The Vivienne also revealed that she would be making her soap debut with a guest appearance on Emmerdale to mark their Pride day special.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Baga Chipz explained that she was hopeful that ITV producers would cast her for a spot in Coronation Street sometime soon.
“If I could be on any show in the world … you could offer me the role of the new Lara Croft in Tomb Raider, but if you gave me an opportunity to play someone in Coronation Street, I’d pick that role over Hollywood," Baga explained.
“My dream is to be on Coronation Street, I don’t think there’s anything bigger. I would rather be on Corrie than win a Grammy or an Oscar."
Baga - who had previously confessed she was a huge Coronation Street fan - went on to reveal that she'd even take a cameo role and has some ideas of where she could fit in.
She went on: “Even if they don’t want me as a character, I’d love to do some storylines, get mugged, deal with homophobia.
"If they don’t want that I’d just be happy going into Roy’s and saying 'I’ll have a barm cake' and walk out. Even a cameo, I’d love to just go in The Kabin like ‘Can I get 20 Mayfair Rita? Ta love, see you later” and walk out, that’s all I want."
While Baga hails from London, she is also confident that she can switch up her accent, adding: "I think it would just be amazing."

While Baga is eyeing up a role on her favourite soap, elsewhere it has also been rumoured that the drag queen has landed a spot on Drag Race's International All Stars. However, when pressed by The Mirror about whether the rumours are true, she cheekily denied knowing anything about it.
" If I was asked to do it, I’m a queen of the people. I am the people’s champion. I like to please my fans so, yes I will give them bags of content," she added.
Aside from her exciting plans for television, Baga has teamed up with a new travel agency in East London that is geared at encouraging Brits to head to the UK seaside this summer. Today, her Drag Race co-star Ellie Diamond celebrated the opening of the new travel platform.

At today's grand opening of The Hoo Travel Agency, Ellie was encouraging the capital's trendsetters to head to ditch Ibiza and instead head to Great Yarmouth.
She previously said: “Who doesn’t like a great British holiday by the sea? There’s no need to go fannying about with passports, flights, covid tests and all that nonsense when you can just hotfoot it to England’s finest, Great Yarmouth."
