RuPaul's Drag Race fans fuming as finale 'spoilt' before show aired

RuPaul's Drag Race fans were left speechless after the finale episode was spoilt.

Last night, viewers watched Blu Hyndragana be crowned the first-ever Global Drag Superstar after emerging victorious from lip sync battles against two other finalists, one of which was Mo Heart.

Although Mo, who placed second, was decorous in defeat on the show, the international drag queen took to Twitter to congratulate the winner of the series despite the hour long episode having only been made available to watch 30 minutes prior.

She tweeted: "Congratulations to My Sister Queen of the World @BluHydrangea_"

Beside from Mo's spoiler, another fan theory speculated that the release of Blu's victory song Champion on Spotify had also accidentally revealed the winner too soon for viewers in certain countries, including the UK.

Regardless, given that the 35-year-old, who was representing America on the BBC Three programme, has over 218,000 followers, news of her tweet and consequently, the winner, spread across social media like wildfire.

Understandably, many fans of the much-anticipated fumed.

@neveloc1ty tweeted: "NOT MO SPOILING THE FINALE BYEEE"

@twunkambition added: "Okay I'm not usually one to complain about spoilers on Twitter but the episode literally came out less than an hour ago and the episode is over an hour long... come on now."

@Fade_Mage penned: "Why did you spoil it? Only half way through it. Girl bye."

Other fans seemed more annoyed with several tweeting they had unfollowed the drag queen as a result of her spoiler.

@glenn_weisinger tweeted: "Okay unfollow for spoiling the show immediately."
