Running back Damarea Crockett is an undrafted free agent who could make the Texans

With Lamar Miller and D’Onta Foreman, the Houston Texans have a one-two punch. But what if they end up adding a third punch?

Former Missouri running back Damarea Corckett has a real shot at making the Texans final roster once August comes around. Crockett had an excellent pro day where he showed off his speed, running a 4.40 in the 40 yard dash.

Crockett played in 11 games in 2017 and rushed for 708 yards and seven touchdowns. For his career, Crockett has totaled 2,252 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns in three years at Missouri.

At 5-11, the shifty running back could be a perfect fit for the Texans. The running back depth behind Miller and Foreman is wide open after Alfred Blue left in free agency signing with AFC South rival Jacksonville Jaguars.

Adding a dynamic playmaker like Crockett could be huge for the Texans. As the career of Arian Foster reminds Texans fans, the club has hit the lottery once before on turning an undrafted free agent into an elite NFL star.
