'Ruined his career' - Arsenal and Man United fans laughing as Alexis Sanchez sent off for Inter

Alexis Sanchez's career has stuttered in the last couple of years.

The Chilean international was a Premier League superstar during three-and-a-half years with Arsenal.

But in attempting to leave for bigger and better things, joining Manchester United in a swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the frontman's career only succeeded in stalling.

Sanchez scored just three Premier League goals for the Red Devils in a desperaely disappointing spell, failing to hit the heights he managed with the Gunners.

Deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, he was sent out on a season-long loan to Inter Milan during the summer transfer window - joining Romelu Lukaku in making the same move to the San Siro.

Sanchez got his first minutes as an Inter player during their 1-0 win over Udinese two weeks ago, playing ten minutes, and came off the bench late in the day against Lazio in midweek too.

But he was handed his full debut against Sampdoria on Saturday night, and it was certainly an eventful one.

Sanchez claimed his first goal in an Inter shirt when a Stefano Sensi shot deflected in off his back, before two minutes later he got a proper goal of his own.

But a dream first half turned into a nightmare when, right after half-time, he was shown a second yellow card for simulation, and a red card followed.

And the Arsenal and Manchester United fans on Twitter could not help themselves when reacting to the news as they took great delight in laughing at his misfortune.

If his full debut is anything to go by, his career in Italy is sure to be one to keep an eye on.
