KUMAGAYA, Saitama -- Official uniforms for Rugby World Cup volunteers were distributed to 450 volunteers at Kumagaya Rugby Stadium, one of the tournament venues, in Kumagaya, Saitama Prefecture, on Saturday. Each person received eight items including the uniform, a hat, a water bottle and a bag.

The uniform is mostly blue and has the competition's emblem on the left chest.

By Sept. 20, the first day of the tournament, about 13,000 volunteers will have received the uniforms distributed at the 12 venues nationwide, including Tokyo Stadium in Tokyo and Hanazono Rugby Stadium in Osaka Prefecture.

The volunteers, dubbed Team No-Side, will provide guidance at major stations and airports and guide visitors around the venues.
