Rugby World Cup squads 2019: All 20 teams in full for the tournament in Japan

The 2019 Rugby World Cup is almost upon us as 20 teams from across the globe compete to win the sport's biggest prize - the Webb Ellis Cup.

This year the tournament - which runs from September 20 to November 2 - takes place in Asia for the very first time as over 400,000 fans prepare to descend on Japan.

Formidable New Zealand are the defending champions and will look to seal a third consecutive World Cup triumph after their successes on home soil in 2011 and in England four years ago.

The official deadline for nations and governing bodies to confirm their final 31-man squads is September 8, though plenty of coaches have chosen to announce their selections early in order to maximise preparation time.

As ever there are a number of high-profile exclusions and surprise call-ups, while injuries will also inevitably take their toll.

Here, Standard Sport keeps you abreast of all the confirmed squads for the 2019 Rugby World Cup....
