England played their second Pool C fixture today as a side showing 10 changes from the win over Tonga brushed aside the USA in Kobe.
The Red Rose ran in seven tries, while their opponents received the first red card of the tournament as flanker John Quill was sent off for a shoulder barge to the head of Owen Farrell.
First up on day seven was a meeting between early Pool B leaders Italy and Canada at the Fukuoka Hakatanomori Stadium.
The Azzurri remain top of the group after also scoring seven times during an emphatic 48-7 win.
