The wing Nemani Nadolo returns from a one-match suspension to line up for Fiji in their final match against Uruguay on Tuesday as the Pacific islanders seek their first win of the tournament.
Nadolo, who plays for Crusaders in Super Rugby, was tipped to be one of the breakout names in this World Cup, but it has been a struggle for Fiji to get the ball to him. They have made five changes to the line-up beaten 23-13 by Wales last Thursday.
“We came here with high ambitions and wanted to get one or two scalps,” said the Fiji coach, John McKee. “But we will need to be at our best to beat Uruguay. The players are very motivated to finish the tournament on a high note.”
Uruguay have made six changes – four in the forwards – to the lineup which lost to Australia 65-3 last week. “It is our best opportunity [to win] and, without disrespect to Fiji, it is the only tier two team we will play,” said Uruguay’s coach, Pablo Lemoine.
