A talented rugby player who plunged from a balcony while on holiday in Magaluf, died from severe head injuries, a inquest heard.
Freddie Pring's death was ruled accidental following a fall from the second floor of the Sol Wave House Hotel in June.
The recruitment consultant, also known as Freddie MacVicar, had flown out to the popular spot on Majorca with work colleagues for a three-day incentive trip.
A coroner ruled that although the 20-year-old was drunk, there was no suggestion that his death was the result of recklessness or foul play.
Previous suggestions that he had dived from the balcony were also proved to be false by the evidence read out.
The hearing, in Taunton, Somerset, was told that Freddie had gone out to eat, drink and watch the football with friends from work on the evening of the tragedy.
He then went his own way and continued the night with a group of people he had met on the resort's 'strip' before returning to his hotel.
Local police were called at around 3am the next day after receiving reports that a man had fallen from a balcony.
Paramedics also attended the scene and Freddie was pronounced dead shortly after.
Recording a conclusion of accidental death, coroner Tony Williams said: "Freddie had consumed alcohol, but there is nothing to suggest that he had taken any substances and there is nothing to suggest that he was fooling around or that there was any deliberate act that caused him to fall.
"Sadly, what I do not have is somebody that saw exactly what happened, but my immediate thought is that Freddie came into his room and made his way out onto the balcony.
"Whether he tripped, or overbalanced, I don't know, but sometime after that he fell off the balcony and suffered fatal injuries.
"There is certainly no evidence to support any allegation of balcony diving or anything happening by way of a deliberate act."
Freddie's family and girlfriend attended the hearing to listen to the verdict.
Speaking about the findings after the inquest, his mum Heather said: "It was important because it means that Freddie's death is now reported as a fatal accident, a tragic accident.
"It is a great loss to many people, and that it can be finally stated that there is no evidence of foul play or any other suggestions that may have been reported previously.
"It is important to his family and especially to his younger sisters and his girlfriend that he is seen as this passionate, loyal, hard-working and amazing young man."
