Rugby League Live Power Rankings see Wigan stay top and Championship underdogs soar

10 Bradford Bulls

New entry

Only a few weeks ago it was doom and gloom after a calamitous defeat to Sheffield in round one.

Since then they've won three on the bounce, picking up a big win in Cumbria over Whitehaven this week.

Suddenly, things look brighter for the Bulls.

9 Warrington Wolves

Up 1

Whisper it quietly, but the Wire have come into a bit of form.

They're five unbeaten now, some going for any side, and they beat a Hull KR team this week that had won their previous two games.

Greg Inglis is up and running too. Suddenly, things look brighter for the Wolves.

8 Hull FC

Down 5

It's a cruel drop for the Black and Whites after playing their part in an absorbing contest with Wigan, a battle of two unbeaten sides.

They shouldn't be disheartened after that, they proved they can mix it with the best.

But defeats are costly in these rankings.

7 Catalans Dragons

Up 2

For a second week running, Wakefield pushed their opponents to the end.

But Catalans managed to run away with this game in the closing stages to secure yet another win.

It was a good response to their defeat to Warrington and keeps them with the chasing pack.

6 Toulouse Olympique

Down 1

The Championship side feels the consequences of an inactive week, hence their small drop.

But they're unbeaten and will be happy with how things are going so far.

5 Featherstone Rovers

Down 1

Like Toulouse, they tumble as their game with Toulouse was postponed.

A real shame too, as it would have been a fine contest between the two teams widely seen as the favourites for promotion.

4 Castleford Tigers

Up 2

What a fine start it's been for Cas, who got over their defeat to Wigan with a solid win over Salford.

That's five wins from six now, and proof Castleford can be more than competitive throughout the season.

3 Batley Bulldogs

Up 4

Our biggest risers are Craig Lingard's Bulldogs, who have been excellent so far.

Their win at Newcastle, a side that ended Sheffield's unbeaten start last week, was perhaps their best win so far.

They've now won three games on the bounce and are flying high in the upper sanctums of the league.

2 St Helens

No change

So, their win over Leigh was closer than expected.

A 22-12 win over the struggling Centurions won't go down as their best performance of the season.

But they're six from six and still look freakishly good at times. You can hardly argue with that!

1 Wigan Warriors

No change

For a second week running, they ended a side's unbeaten start.

Hull FC were their victims this time as they produce another attritional, gutsy performance.

They're six from six now, some start.
