Rufus Hound to miss Dancing on Ice this weekend as he's told to isolate

One of the star's of ITV's Dancing on Ice has had to pull out of this weekend's show because he has been in contact with someone with Covid-19.

Rufus Hound will miss his live performance because he now must isolate, the Mirror has exclusively revealed.

The comic will now have to isolate for 10 days, which means he cannot perform as part of the group number tomorrow night - and again next Sunday for his individual skate.

According to the Mirror, sources say he has not tested positive for the virus but it is not yet known if he will be allowed back on the show.

His professional partner Robin Johnstone has also been advised to stay away from the Dancing On Ice studios.

A spokesperson for ITV said: "This week Rufus Hound came into contact with someone outside of the show who tested positive for Covid 19.

This means, following government guidelines, he will isolate for ten days. We are hoping to welcome him back to the ice soon."
