Rudy Giuliani and wife ripped by judge for failing to make peace in divorce

NEW YORK _ Rudy Giuliani isn't playing nice with his future ex-wife.

A Manhattan divorce judge said Wednesday that the former New York City mayor and his estranged wife, Judith Nathan, are headed toward a bitter matrimonial trial.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Michael Katz ripped the parties for failing to make "any progress in (the) direction" of a settlement in the year-old case.

"I think we're going to be moving this case along to a lengthy and unpleasant trial but so be it," Katz said. "We'll do what we need to do to resolve this case."

The proceeding has gotten so petty that Giuliani has accused Nathan of failing to disclose a bank account with just $100 in it to him.

Her lawyers said the mix-up was due to the fact that he rerouted her mail to come to him.

Giuliani, who is now an attorney for President Donald Trump, was scolded by Katz at one point after a series of outbursts in which he called one of his wife's claims "bull----!"

"Mr. Giuliani, don't interrupt the proceeding," the irked judge said.

"You have lawyers representing you," he told Giuliani. "You're not the lawyer."

Katz referred to the proceeding as "a circus" as he pressed both sides to comply with court orders he's already issued.

They are battling over millions of dollars and multiple properties _ in the Hamptons, Manhattan and Florida.

The split was sparked by Giuliani's affair with Dr. Maria Rosa Ryan, who he was supporting financially.

Each spouse claims to have a $230,000-plus monthly budget.

The pair filed for divorce last April after 15 years of marriage.
