Chelsea will be looking to join Manchester City in the final of the UEFA Champions League when they lock horns with Real Madrid in the second-leg of their semi-final showdown at Stamford Bridge this evening.
The Blues, who secured a second successive Premier League victory at the weekend, defeating Fulham 2-0 at Stamford Bridge, enter tonight's contest with the tie evenly poised after the first-leg in Spain last week finished 1-1.
Christian Pulisic handed the Blues an early lead, showing great levels of calmness and composure, before Karim Benzema's impressive strike brought Madrid level just before the half hour mark.
Although Chelsea will have no doubt felt a tinge of disappointment for not winning the game, they did secure a crucial away goal in their quest to reach their first Champions League final since 2012.
Ahead of tonight's huge encounter at Stamford Bridge, head coach Thomas Tuchel has had a couple of injury concerns to contend with, but only one of them looks set to cause him disappointment.
With that said, here is a round-up of all the very latest Chelsea injury news ahead of this evening's crunch encounter with Zinedine Zidane's troops.
Antonio Rudiger
Absent for Saturday's victory over Fulham, centre-back Rudiger appears set to return for the Blues this evening, handing Tuchel another option when it comes to naming his defensive-line.
The Germany international, who has seen his Blues career resurrected under Tuchel, was ruled out of the clash with the Cottagers on Friday, with Tuchel insisting a late incident against Madrid had forced him to miss out, although he did not specify what the injury was.
However, it now appears that it was a facial injury that forced him to miss out, with Tuchel confirming that he is set to return this evening, albeit by sporting a mask on his face.
Tuchel, issuing an update on the defender on Tuesday afternoon, said: "I think that Toni [Rudiger] will play with a mask, because he trained yesterday [Monday] in a mask."
Should he have no further setbacks in the build-up to kick-off this evening, you would expect him to return at centre-back.
Mateo Kovacic
Unlike Rudiger, midfield ace Kovacic will not be available for selection this evening. The Croatian ace has missed the Blues' last six games in all competitions with a hamstring problem and will play no part against his former club.
Although Chelsea are blessed with options in the middle of the park, Kovacic's continued absence will be felt, as he has been nothing short of outstanding since Tuchel took charge in late-January.
In his absence, it is almost certain that N'Golo Kante and Jorginho will partner each other in the middle.
On Kovacic's continued absence, Tuchel said: "Mateo [Kovacic] will not be in the squad.
"Everybody else is in training today, so hopefully we will have no new injuries today and that means everybody is available except for Mateo Kovacic."
Elsewhere, the likes of Cesar Azpilicueta and Christian Pulisic, both of whom were unused substitutes at the weekend, will be eyeing up returns to the starting line-up.
