Rudi Voller delivers brutal Rangers verdict as Bayer Leverkusen chief makes 'no comparison' claim

Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller warns there's "no comparison" between Rangers and their upcoming Europa League foes Inter.

The German side took a 1-0 win over Steven Gerrard 's men on Thursday to advance to the quarter-finals of the competition with a 4-1 aggregate win.

And Voller is expecting a far tougher test against Antonio Conte's outfit, who he admits are miles ahead of Rangers.

He told Gazzetta dello Sport: "We need to be realistic, we know that Inter are strong.

"They finished a point behind Juve and ended the season strongly.

"There's no comparison with Rangers, the Nerazzurri have players with class, a great coach, they concede very few goals and they have a really well-matched strike pairing.

"The strength of (Romelu) Lukaku with the speed of Lautaro (Martinez) can hurt anyone on the counter-attack.

"We know it's going to be difficult.

"They're complete in every department, with players who all know their roles inside-out.

"No-one wants to concede goals, ourselves included, but if Inter were to take the lead it would be difficult to recover.

"We'll see what happens, we'll play our game against a great opponent in the knowledge that we'll have our chances."
