Rude couple RSVP to wedding - and include EIGHT family members to tag along

It's almost like a law of physics - no wedding can take place without there being a dollop of drama.

In this particular instance, the source of the "beef" doesn't lie with the bride , or the mother-of-the-bride, or some hapless bridesmaid.

Instead it was two regular guests who overstepped the mark when they RSVPd to a wedding.

Confirming your attendance may be the polite thing to do, but the couple in question then did something bizarre.

Along with saying that they'd be coming along, they also stated that EIGHT family members would also be tagging along with them.

EIGHT!

'Red flags' at weddings which show marriage is doomed, according to photographers

The RSVP was shared in a Facebook group where it unsurprisingly and very quickly whipped people up into an outraged frenzy.

In a blank space on the card, the couple kindly wrote the names of the family members who'd be turning up with them.

Then in another space they added "10 persons will attend".

They then kindly offered some clarification and wrote "Six adults four kids."

It gets worse...

Adding insult to injury, they then pointed out that an ELEVENTH person may attend also.

They wrote: "I'm not including [name] I can if you want to.

"It's one adult two kids."

So this eleventh person may have been bringing their two children along as well, which brings the total number of "guests" coming off one invite to 13.

According to the Facebook post, it was the husband's stepdad's family who had tried to hijack the invite.

The anonymous poster said: "It was a couple that was invited and they took it upon themselves to invite 8 other people!

"(Possibly 11 other people that's what it says at the bottom.)

"I'd lose my s**'. It's a wedding not a barbecue."

The responses were unanimous in agreeing that the couple in question were being VERY cheeky.

As one wise person put it: "Why do weddings bring out the worst in people - and I'm not even talking about the bridal party at this point."
