Ruby Wax says she is keen on making a TV comeback after her long absence.
The star, who fronted series such as Ruby Wax Meets... in the 1990s, would like a return to doing documentaries.
But she added the days of having access to A-listers for long interviews are over.
Ruby, 68, said: “There’s no celebrity that I would do now.
"In those days, if the interviewee wanted me around they’d tell the PR to get lost and we’d go off for sometimes hours or days.
"It wouldn’t happen now.”

The comedian and writer quit TV amid her battle with depression 25 years ago.
She then became a mental health campaigner.
Ruby is now revisiting her celebrity interviews with the likes of Donald Trump for a nostalgic series.
The mum-of-three said her new career makes her very happy, but added: “I’d like to do more documentaries.
"But anything I do doesn’t get on TV.

“It hasn’t for 25 years, so I made another life...
"If they commissioned me, I’d do it.
"I’d do that show in a minute.
"Where’s the funny older women on TV? I don’t know.”
Ruby, who has written a new book called A Mindfulness Guide for Survival to help people suffering from anxiety, added: “Luckily, I was young enough to get another career.
“If you’re too old it becomes pathetic and all you want is to remain on television.”
