Ruby doesn’t believe in fairytales, but she does believe in wishes. Confined to a hospital bed for much of her childhood, she’s had to grow up too fast and confront too much. When visited by Dot, a tongue-tied clown doctor, she finds a way to use her greatest asset: her imagination.
Created by by Holly Austin, Adriano Cappelletta and Jo Turner, the puppetry show returns to Belvoir after it premiered in 2014. It’s a tale of two misfits – a child and a clown who create a fantasy world.
