Ruby Redfort: Look Into My Eyes by Lauren Child - review

Lauren Child, Ruby Redfort Look Into My Eyes

Ruby is an extraordinary problem solver and this changed her life from being safe to 'surviving not guaranteed'. When Ruby gets recruited as an undercover agent she has to save the precious jade Buddha from the hands of her biggest fear. Her biggest craze of her new spy life is SUPER GADGETS! She is told not to touch any of them by her spy/butler Hitch but she has sticky fingers!

I love this book and it remains top spot on my favourite books list followed by the second and third sequels. One of the reasons I obsess over this book is because the author does not explain Ruby's personality to you, you have to take hints. She springs amazing and unexpected surprises on you and is so unpredictable. However, the title does not suit the book.

This is an action-packed, spine-tingling book. Lauren Child had me on the edge of my seat. I highly recommend it to spy fiction fans.
