Can you give a new home to a lovable young dog?
Ruby is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross, who is currently living at Dogs Trust’s West Calder Rehoming Centre.
At just 10 months old, her carers say Ruby is full of fun and she loves nothing more than to be surrounded by people getting as much love and attention as she can.
A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust added: “Ruby is sure to say hello to everyone she meets and she adores spending time with her family whether she’s playing games with them or snuggling on the sofa together.
“This playful youngster loves to explore the world on her walks, run around the garden chasing after her favourite toys and she’ll never turn down a tasty treat. Ruby is searching for someone who can be home throughout the day to keep her company and help continue with her training. Her new owners will ideally have previous experience with similar breeds and enjoy setting off in the great outdoors as much as she does.”
Ruby can live with children aged around 16 years old and above and she gets on well with other likeminded and playful dogs but would be happiest as the only pet at home.
Dogs Trust’s spokeswoman added the charity is keen to see Ruby settled with a new owner and said anyone interested in offering her a home should get in touch.
She said: “Ruby is an incredibly friendly girl with a sweet and loving nature and she is sure to make a wonderful addition to her future family. If you think you could provide the perfect home for Ruby, or any of the other 50 dogs currently available for rehoming, please contact the centre on 01506 873459.”
One Sunday every month, Dogs Trust West Calder hold Spotlight Sunday, where two dogs are highlighted in their search for a special type of home.
