Ruben Neves drops hint over his future amid Manchester United transfer links

Ruben Neves has hinted he is happy to stay at Wolves and work under new manager Bruno Lage despite reports linking him with a move to Manchester United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are targeting a move for a midfielder having agreed deals for Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane, with Neves one player tipped to make the switch to Old Trafford.

The Portuguese midfielder has also been linked with a potential switch to Arsenal before the end of the summer transfer window, though it seems he is happy to stay at Wolves.

"He [Lage] is a very good coach. I am really happy to work with him," he told Wolves TV.

"I spoke with a few friends when he signed for Wolves - that were players in Benfica and are good friends of mine - and they said a lot of good things about him.

"I can see it now. He's a very good coach with lots of good ideas. I think that when things are completely together, we'll be a really hard team to beat."

Neves has scored 20 goals and notched 10 assists across 176 appearances for Wolves and has three years remaining on his current deal at Molineux.
