Ruben Amorim reveals his biggest concern for Manchester United after 'really bad' loss to Everton

Ruben Amorim says he was concerned by Manchester United's performance against Everton.

Despite having a one-man advantage from the 13th minute when Idrissa Gueye was sent-off for striking his own team-mate Michael Keane in the face, Man United had no response to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall goal.

That strike was enough to end the Red Devils’ five-game unbeaten run and they also missed the opportunity to end the night in the top five of the Premier League table.

Speaking after the game, Amorim admitted the result was “really bad” and shared concerns over the performance from his side against ten-men.

He said: "Forget the result. The result is really bad but I was more concerned by the feeling I had during the game. Everyone should play better today.

"We didn't play as a team well. We didn't understand the game and we were going with the flow of the game. And that is my biggest concern.

“The understanding of every situation of the game was not there and then the quality near the box. But most important is the intensity. You can feel it right away, when we start the game.

“We can feel when we are at the top level in intensity and when we are not, and you cannot win games in this way.

"I have said, on many occasions, that I understand we have a lot to do. I have that feeling but, of course, I am really frustrated by the way we play the game, especially in our home and especially understanding what happened during this week, with the other clubs and looking at the table.

“Feeling everything in the way we present, especially in the first minute of the game. It is really, really frustrating."
