Some residents in the Carse of Gowrie has been told to leave their bins out on the kerb for the next two days, after a scheduled bin collection was not completed.
On Tuesday, February 4, the scheduled bin pick-ups in Longforgan and Kingoodie were not completed.
Residents affected by this have been told to leave their bins out for 48 hours to allow the bin crews to come back and collect the rubbish.
A spokesperson for Perth and Kinross Council said: “Due to operational reasons, we were unable to complete bin collections in the Longforgan and Kingoodie areas today [Tuesday, February 4].
“If your bin was missed, please leave it out for a further 48 hours and we’ll do our best to get it emptied.
“Apologies for any inconvenience caused and your patience is appreciated while we work to resolve this situation.”
