Ru Paul's Drag Race UK start date confirmed as Michelle Visage joins Strictly Come Dancing lineup

Just as one of its judges has been confirmed as a contestant on this year's Strictly Come Dancing, the start date for the highly anticipated debut of Ru Paul's Drag Race UK has been confirmed.

After being linked to the new series for months, as a dancer for Strictly 2019 on Monday morning.

Michelle was confirmed alongside chef Emma Weymouth and Paralympian Will Bayley, and in announcing her as part of the the BBC also let slip when Ru Paul's Drag Race UK will air.

A post on the BBC website read "Michelle is best known for her role as a judge on RuPaul's Drag Race since season three and on all seasons of the spin-off show RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. Michelle will appear on RuPaul's Drag Race UK, which is set to air on BBC Three this October."

So there we have it Drag Race fans, start your engines and get ready to sissy that walk as we haven't got long to wait now!

Speaking about being on Strictly, Michelle said “Getting to do Strictly in my favourite place on Earth is an actual DREAM!
