Ru Paul’s Drag Race: Lawrence Chaney does Glasgow proud with another challenge win

Glasgow’s hopes of homegrown drag queen winning Drag Race UK for the first time continue to grow as Lawrence Chaney bags yet another challenge win.

The hilarious Lawrence looked shocked in tonight’s episode - now streaming on BBC Three - as she received the Ru Peter Badge for a second week.

The win followed a brilliant take on the morning TV show agony aunt, to which guest judge Lorraine Kelly said Lawrence could “walk right on” to her show any time.

Lawrence then ran with the monster mashup runway, taking to the stage in a Texas Chainsaw Massacre-inspired ensemble - complete with a mask of her own skinned face hanging from her arm.

Commenting on her outfit, Lawrence quipped "you’ve heard of foreskin, well this is about seven skins."

When told to wear her second badge with pride for Scotland, Lawrence replied "Always babes!"

As the competition heats up, we can’t help but keep everything crossed for Lawrence - surely winning over the whole of the UK week by week, if Twitter is anything to go by.

All we can say is, Lawrence, hen - gaun yersel henny!
