RTE viewers praise The 2 Johnnies for 'class' show as they Take On art with help from Don Conroy

Comedy duo The 2 Johnnies are being praised for another hilarious episode of their RTE show Take On.

The Tipperary lads appeared on the small screen on Monday night for the second instalment of the series which sees them 'take on' a number of challenges.

Last week, the pair focused on TikTok, while their latest episode saw them try their hands at art with the help of a national legend.

Don Conroy, who many of us will remember for his calming RTE art programme, is a childhood hero for Johnny B and Johnny Smacks.

He showed them how to create a painting before they successfully completed an "incredible" mural in the town of Clonmel in their native Tipperary.

The artwork, titled 'Thread Softly', depicts a ballerina painted in blue with a striking red umbrella above her head.

A local artist was helped by the lads to complete the painting, while they also had their own unusual art exhibition during the show.

RTE viewers were left seriously impressed by the mural, while they also praised The 2 Johnnies for another entertaining show.

The lads themselves also thanked local business Canvaz Prints for their "for incredible work in Clonmel" in creating the mural.

One viewer said on Twitter: "Really enjoyed that episode of the @the2johnnies Take on...well done lads."

A second added: "@the2johnnies Brilliant again lads."

Another person said: "Amazing show tonight lads."

While someone else wrote: "I'd give €50 for @the2johnnies 'Hand Like God' painting. Nice work Johnny Smacks."

Another viewer chimed in: "@the2johnnies lads you are f****** class."
