RTE viewers were left confused on Friday night after rugby ace CJ Stander didn't appear on the Late Late Show.
The Munster star was scheduled to be among the guests on the chat show, but he never appeared.
Stander was set to talk about his retirement plans when he hangs up his boots at the end of the season and discuss his stellar career with both Ireland and Munster.
A number of people took to social media to question why the South Africa native didn't appear on the show with Ryan Tubridy.
One person said: "Where’s CJ Stander?"
Another commented: "I'm only watching the #LateLate to see @CJStander."
Someone else added: "Thought CJ Stander was due on the Late Late."
One disappointed viewer tweeted: "Watched The Late, Late but no CJ??? Really disappointed."
One other posted: "Eh, what happened to CJ Stander interview??"
Stander was left in tears after his final match in an Ireland jersey last month, while he gave an emotional interview after Munster's defeat to Toulouse last weekend.
Speaking after the Thomond Park clash, he said: “I’m going to miss this place.
“Just before I arrived here, I remember watching a European game here. I think they were playing Edinburgh. Those flags in the tunnel.
“I was just sitting at home and thinking ‘I would love to run out here one day’. Today was special, to be captain of a side like this. It would have been great to get some silverware, but it wasn’t to be for me or Billy (Holland).
“They are going to get some silverware. I can’t wait to sit in the stand with the full 26,000 and watch that happen.”
