People across Ireland have been left amazed by an RTE viewer who caught a split-second "cry for help" on a news bulletin.
The man was watching the news recently when he spotted an unusual sign.
In a photo showing footage from the broadcaster's main news programme, lab technicians can be seen working with Covid test samples.
But to the left of the screen, the letters spelling the word 'help' can be seen taped onto a lab device.
The RTE viewer posted the picture on Reddit and people couldn't believe their eyes.
Many praised him for his eagle-eyed observation, while others struggled to spot what he called "a cry for help on RTE News".
One person said: "That's actually a bit strange I need answers."
A second commented: "Saw it on the 9 o clock news, its legit."
A third queried: "Does.... Anyone actually know why that would be there like? Jokes aside, it's a bit weird isn't it?"
