Didi Hamann is many Irish people's new favourite pundit after his furious reaction to England reaching the Euro 2020 final on Wednesday night.
The English beat Denmark 2-1 after extra-time with Harry Kane scoring the rebound after he missed the initial penalty to seal the deal.
But the awarding of the penalty was a big point of contention with many feeling Raheem Sterling went down softly.
One such person was Hamann, who furiously labelled it "scandalous" and said Denmark deserved more for their efforts.
He added: "This is a disgraceful decision. We brought VAR in to deal with these decisions. There is no contact whatsoever."
And RTE viewers were loving the former Germany and Liverpool midfielder's strong stance on the matter.
One viewer said: "Didi Hamann the only analyst showing his worth."
Another added: "Didi Hamann is now more Irish than the Irish themselves."
And one said: "Didi Hamann is an honorary Irish man."
Regardless of Hamann's thoughts, the English will now face Italy in Wembley on Sunday night as they bid for European glory.
The game will be shown live on RTE as well as all major English stations.
