Eurovision is over, and regardless of the fact that Ireland's Lesley Roy did not make the final, people still had the best of craic.
Taking to Twitter, Irish viewers all had the same opinion- that it was great to be able to stick on the telly and forget about everything else for three hours.
Eurovision is weird, wacky and wild- and the perfect escapism from everything that is going on in the world at the moment.
It was a night of mayhem, and Italy's entrant Måneskin won the contest outright.
The UK performed fairly poorly, with many countries giving them next to no points- which some fans put down to "the UK Eurovision act being as popular as Brexit."

There was also a lot of love for Iceland- who were represented by Daði Freyr, the genius band who brought us the banger that is Think About Things.
Above all else, the majority of people were saying the same thing- that Italy deserved to win.
Throughout the whole entire night, the act from Italy were the best fun.
Måneskin performed for Italy with the song Zitti E Buoni, and it was punk pop grunge fest that was truly spectacular.
Full of electric guitars, leather pants and mascara, Måneskin sent fans wild when performing on stage.
The energy Italy brought did not stop on the stage- they were constantly caught on camera having fun, cheering, dancing and drinking.
"Italy are enjoying themselves," one fan wrote on Twitter.
Another chimed in stating that, "Italy are absolutely spagboled."
"It's great to see some rock music in these festivals, thanks Italy and Finland," wrote another.
"Please reconsider your voting and vote Italy," tweeted another fan.
