RTE viewers all say same thing about Iarnrod Enda TV show as former Taoiseach Kenny goes to Donegal and Derry

RTE viewers have praised the Iarnrod Enda TV show as former Taoiseach Kenny went to Donegal and Derry.

Kenny went from Derry City to Burtonport in Co. Donegal on Monday night's episode.

Viewers learned of the gale force winds which caused the Owencarrow Viaduct disaster and got to hear music from sean-nós singer Diane Cannon and Mazurkas from ‘The Sí fiddlers’.

The programme also had contributions from local historian Seán Beattie, Séamus Doohan, Eugene Green and David Alcorn.

Many people were impressed by the programme and took to Twitter to praise Enda Kenny and the show.

One said: " Unpopular opinion perhaps, perhaps not. #iarnrodenda is good telly and Enda is a good presenter.

"Interesting stuff, showcases our beautiful country and highlights some places off the beaten track. And in Irish! @RTEOne."

Another rote: "Concerned that I may be watching Iarnród Enda non-ironically."

While a named David tweeted saying: "Certainly #Donegal looking majestic tonight on #IarnrodEnda."
