RTE to show Ireland home games as TV details for Autumn Nations Cup campaign announced

Irish fans will be able to watch Ireland's entire Autumn Nations Cup campaign on free-to-air television as broadcast rights were announced today.

Andy Farrell's side host Wales and Georgia as well as a trip to Twickenham to face England in the revamped November international window.

And RTE have been handed broadcast rights for the one-off tournament, and will show all three of Ireland's Aviva Stadium games.

And Channel 4 will show Ireland's clash against England, meaning that fans won't miss a minute of the unprecedented tournament.

For those in the UK, Channel 4 and Amazon Prime will provide coverage from every round.

With all Six Nations teams joined by Georgia and Fiji, the eight sides are split into two pools of four in the unique tournament brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Group A will include England, Ireland, Wales and Georgia with Group B comprising of France, Scotland, Italy and Fiji.

Ireland host the Welsh in the first game of the tournament in Dublin on Friday November 13, with a trip to Twickenham to take on Eddie Jones' England following just eight days later.

Ireland then host Georgia and know that the Aviva Stadium will play host to a final clash against the team ranked the same as Ireland in the opposite pool.

The tournament will immediately follow the refixed conclusion to this year's Six Nations, with Ireland knowing that bonus point wins over Italy and France can secure a title in Andy Farrell's first season in charge.
