RTÉ Super garden viewers called designer Siobhan's simplistic garden design 'perfection' as she opened up in the episode about her cousin tragically passing away.
The episode saw Siobhan Keogh from Cork presenting her R(etreat) & R(estorative) themed garden to the show's judges.
She got emotional on the show as she spoke about her late cousin Aífe and how her passing drew her into gardening.
She said: "It's one of the big reasons I got into garden design in the first place and also to want to do something a bit mad this year.
"A couple of years ago, I lost my best friend in the world, my cousin Aífe. She was my wingwoman, my favourite person to hang out with on the planet.
"Over the last few years, things have not been very easy and the garden has just been somewhere to relax and just be able to take your mind off things.
"The girls who are helping me with the garden are all Aífe's schoolfriends who I've known for years.
"Doing this with them has just been great, she's here with us too."
Siobhan’s turned planting into the main feature point of her garden and she implemented a drift planting scheme, mixing tall trees and grass with ferns and herbs.
She wanted to give an atmosphere of being in a beautiful painting or the countryside and used hard landscaping and kept furniture clean and simple, avoiding unnatural materials throughout the design.
Viewers loved the design and took to twitter to praise the 28 year-old's work.
