RTE star Jennifer Zamparelli opens up about marriage and needing to do more 'PDA' with hubby

Jennifer Zamparelli said she wants her husband to get "tattoo wedding rings" because they never wear theirs.

Opening up about her relationship, the RTE radio and TV star also said that she wants to start doing more public displays of affection for her hubby, Lau, to make up for always "slagging him on air".

The 2fm host and Dancing With The Stars presenter said: "I have been trying to get him, I want to get tattoo wedding rings because we never wear our rings and he refuses to do that. So he would never.

“And I am kind of thinking, well maybe I don't do it[pda] for him.”

Speaking to entertainment reporter Lottie Ryan on her show, The Jennifer Zamparelli Show on 2fm she went on to say: "Actually you have inspired me, Lottie.

“I am going to make it my mission this week to do one of those big public displays of affection for my husband which I never do because I am generally slagging him on air, you know to the nation.

"I am going to do it.

“And let’s see how we feel.

"It might be very good for our relationship. It might make us more secure, or sick. I don't know. Time will tell…

“Watch me, I’ll do it. I’m actually getting really nervous. I’m starting to sweat.”

Discussing Brooklyn Beckham's new tattoo, dedicated to fiancée Nicola Peltz, Jen, 40, who shares two kids with her husband Lau, added: "There have been a couple examples on Instagram as of late where people have been proclaiming their undying love for their partner because it's their birthday or their anniversary or they got out of the bed or they had a nice dinner.

"Initially I'm like, 'Oh for god's sake enough of the public displays of affection,' but that's only because I'm not getting them myself.

"I'm not getting those public displays of affection, he's not that kind of man and I thought, 'You know what's wrong with it? What's wrong with your man or your woman telling the world how much they love you?'

"I think it's a dying art I think we need to do more of it and why not do it."
