RTE presenter Dáithí Ó Sé enjoyed a romantic date night with wife Rita as the couple shared snaps from Co Clare.
The pair took to social media over the weekend as Rita shared a picture of Daithi enjoying some fish and chips.
Rita also tagged the luxury Armada Hotel at Spanish Point in Co Clare, which enjoys stunning views of the western coast, RSVP Live reports.
Dáithí then reposted the shot to his 43.5k followers on the photo-sharing app - giving us a rare insight into the couple’s happy marriage.
The Rose of Tralee host met his wife while she was competing as the New Jersey Rose on the popular Irish beauty competition back in 2008.
Dáithí said that "once he knew, that was it" and can still remember the first time he saw her in her red dress before things from friendship to relationship through Facebook.
Speaking to RSVP Live he said: "We messaged each other once a month and then it was once a week, once a day and six times a day. Facebook was how it all started.
"Our real official first date was when we went to see Shrek the Third in the cinema in New York.
"I still have the stubs somewhere in the attic, how sad is that?"
Rita then packed up her life in the States to be in Ireland with the famous broadcaster where the happy couple were wed in 2012 and share one son together, Mícheál Óg who was born in 2014.
