Amy Huberman has opened up about giving birth to her third child, admitting she was emotional leaving hospital.
The 41-year-old actress shared an update with her followers after she and hubby Brian O'Driscoll welcomed new baby Ted into the world last week.
Puntastic Amy posted a photo of her hospital room window, writing: "A womb with a view".
She added: "I mean I just really wanted to use that pun at a window on my way out of the hospital.
"Always emosh leaving there and I always want to be a midwife when I leave because they are such utter legends but then I suddenly feel v tired and lie down and go for a kip instead."
Amy's heartwarming update comes after former Ireland ace Brian told the world about the couple's good news last week.
The former rugby captain shared a gorgeous photo of him carrying Ted home, writing: "2020 was a bit crap but the end of it was aiiiiight!
"Ted O’Driscoll arrived on Dec 28th and he is deadly.
"His mum is a champion and his brother and sister are thrilled at having a new little bro."
Amy, meanwhile, joked that having a child was the only way she could escape the house for a few days.
"Jeez you gotta go have a baby around here just to pack a suitcase and head away for a couple of nights!" she kidded on Instagram.
"Thank you so much for all your lovely messages for Ted.
"He’d say thanks himself but he’s 6 days old and a bit lazy that way."
Fans and friends were quick to shower Amy and Brian with congratulatory messages.
RTE's Jennifer Zamparelli wrote: "Congrats! Ah I remember that room well. Enjoy every second".
Marissa Carter said: "Congratulations Amy".
