The arrival of a new character to stir things up got season two of RTE hit show Smother off to a bombshell start.
The highly popular drama returned to screens on Sunday evening, with the escapades of the Aherns once again keeping people hooked.
And the arrival of new character Finn has caused ructions already.

Here we go.
Finn arrives to introduce himself to Val and the family in the aftermath of the death of Denis (with the exact story of how he died being revealed in the season one finale)- but all doesn't appear to be right with him.
And RTE viewers were very wary of the new arrival and his intentions.
"Me no like Finn" said one person, with another adding "Finn you've one complicated family to be related to"
A third questioned: "So Finn has been in town for a week & chooses the day of the funeral to rock up & meet the family?"
Others chipped in with theories, with a popular one being captured in another tweet reading: "Perhaps I am a conspiracy theorist, but why do I get the impression that Finn could be a Private Detective posing as a son of Denis".
