RTE's Ryan Tubridy warns people of 'shocking' Sex and the City: And Just Like That moment

RTE's Ryan Tubridy opened his radio show on Friday morning with a spoiler warning as he discussed the first episodes of Sex and the City's revival.

And Just Like That premiered with two episodes on Thursday with a "shocking moment" to start.

Just like Ryan Tubridy, we are warning that there are heavy spoilers from this moment onwards.

And fans were stunned when the first episode featured a shocking death.

Towards the end of the episode, Mr Big, played by Chris Noth, died suddenly after suffering a heart attack following a workout on a Peloton exercise bike.

Big’s love for the cult fitness machine was documented during the episode, as he talked about his favourite instructor Allegra - who is played by real-life Peloton star Jess King - and even skipped Charlotte's daughter’s dance recital in order to get a workout in.

However, after his intense session he’s seen heading to the shower as he clutches his chest and shoulder, before collapsing on the floor.

“And just like that Big died,” a heartbroken Carrie says in a voiceover.

RTE host Tubs shared the many views of people who weren't overly impressed by the first episodes.

Tubs, who had only watched "the first three or four minutes" said he will return to watch the rest of it such is the hype.

He said: "There is a major, major spoiler alert, in fairness most people have written above it as spoiler alert.

"It's getting mixed reviews all around the place

"The big news is about Mr Big in the life of Carrie, something happens with Mr Big and it's not good news.

"It's an incident that involves him and Peloton bike."

Tubs joked that the people behind Peloton bikes have come out and said that the "man was at serious risk" of such an incident and that "lifestyle choices".

He added: "It's a huge talking point, a little splash of colour and it's happening."
