RTE's Ryan Tubridy radio absence explained as Late Late Toy Show star says he's still 'chuffed'

Late Late Toy Show star Noah Rafferty was back on the airwaves today as he gave an update on life since his appearance.

The young Louth boy sang "Rock is the only medicine" on the Toy Show and is now releasing it as a single with all proceeds going to Make A Wish Foundation.

And Noah was back on the Ryan Tubridy Show on RTE Radio One on Monday morning where he said his life since has been a "dream come true".

Noah was speaking to Oliver Callan, who was hosting the show instead of Ryan Tubridy, who Callan said was "still wrecked from the Toy Show".

And speaking to comedian Callan, Noah said: "I didn't believe I could make it this far, it's a dream come true.

"Well my entire school has been going crazy and it's just been a wild ride.

"I haven't gone too mad, I have to stay grounded."

Asked how he keeps his confidence so high, Noah added: "The same way I stay up really late, lots and lots of sour worms."

You can buy Noah Rafferty's new single 'Rock is the only medicine' on iTunes from today with all money going to the Make A Wish foundation.

Ryan Tubridy will return to the show on Tuesday after his absence on Monday morning.
