RTE's latest attempt to attract a new generation of viewers culminated in one of its best-known faces starring in a hilarious TikTok video on Tuesday.
Ryan Tubridy stars in the 15-second clip on the Late Late Show's newly-launched account on the video-sharing platform.
A new season of the popular chat show kicks off on Friday, with Tubs already promising a "humdinger" line-up of guests.
On his RTE Radio One show on Tuesday morning, the 48-year-old host revealed to listeners that he had been asked by producers to appear on TikTok ahead of the new season.
He described the social media platform as "a strange one", even though he enjoys using Instagram.

"TikTok feels like another world altogether but I'm told by young people I work with, particularly over on the Late Late Show, that I should give it a go," he explained.
"I said, 'Well I don't really know what it is'. They sat me down yesterday and they said, 'It's stuff like this'.
"I said, 'I don't know, crikey lads I think I should let the youngsters off'.
"And they said, 'Well it's not even for you it's for us, it's for the Late Late Show. We're coming back and we'd like to do something'."
Tubridy agreed and said he would "do something", and he announced on air that the team were sending out their "first-ever Late Late Show TikTok" as he spoke.
"So if you look up TikTok now and you look up Late Late Show, you'll see me doing something kind of silly, kind of goofy and that's what it is," he said.

"So we'll see how it goes and we'll see if I'm not disowned by own family as a result. And if that's the case, we'll keep going."
In the video, the presenter acts out a dance used by many TikTok users when sharing what questions they're asked most often.
He is first seen engrossed in this week's RTE Gude, which just so happens to feature him as its cover star.
The first question asked was: "Aren't you too old to be on TikTok?", which Tubridy answered with a massive "YES!!"
The second asked was: "Are you busy this Friday night?", to which he replied: "YES. The Late Late Show is back."
The final question posed was: "Can I have a ticket to the Late Late Toy Show?"
Tubridy then concluded the hilarious video with an emphatic "NO!".
