RTE star Ryan Tubridy has spoken about a lovely trip into Dublin City Centre with his mother where they bumped into a new TD.
The 48-year-old enjoyed the sunny weather as he strolled into the National Gallery of Ireland with his beloved mum Catherine on Tuesday.
He told listeners to his RTE Radio One show on Wednesday morning: "Yesterday (Tuesday), I went into town and had a lovely day, myself and my mother.
"We went to the National Gallery and we had coffee outside.
"It was the 14th of July, there's a little coffee truck there called Le Beret.
"It was lovely and cool inside the gallery which is looking as gorgeous as ever.

"If you want to enjoy the riches of our nation for free, go to the National Gallery.
"You have the beautiful Merrion Square across the road and on a beautiful day, it's gorgeous."
Ryan happened to meet new Labour TD Ivana Bacik, who recently won the Dublin Bay South by-election.
He added: "We bumped into freshly minted deputy TD Ivana Bacik on the road.
"We congratulated her and her colleagues, she was most personable and we wish her well in her endeavours."
It comes after Ryan blasted the ‘terrifying’ online racial abuse following England’s football defeat as a ‘horrible reflection of the worst of England’ comparing it to a “ku klux klan” mentality.
Following England's defeat to Italy in the Euro 2020 final on Sunday night, police have launched an investigation into offensive and racist social media comments being directed towards players Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka, who all missed their penalties on the night.

Joining Prince William and Boris Johnson among many to publicly condemn the actions after the match, Tubridy hit out at the ‘bonkers’ behaviour.
Ryan told his Radio One listeners: “What was happening after England lost became a horrible reflection of the worst of England. The worst.
“The worst types of people came out, the worst attitudes came out.
“And I don’t know if this would happen in any country. I’m not having an anti-England go here, I’m just saying, isn’t it fascinating that people get behind the national side and the manager and all… and then when it goes wrong or they don’t succeed, on a coin, lots of people turn.
“Not all of them, but lots of them.”
