RTE's Ryan Tubridy disgusted as friend of the Late Late Show runs into awful luck

Ryan Tubridy has sent his support to singer Orla Gartland after she had all her gear stolen while on tour.

In a post on social media, Orla said that 13 pieces of equipment had been stolen while they were staying in a travel lodge in Wembley, London.

The 26-year-old Dubliner has appeared on the Late Late Show in recent times and has the support of tv and radio host Tubridy in her search for the gear.

Speaking on Monday morning's radio show, Tubs said: "I see Orla Gartland, who was with us on the Late Late Show, god help her, she tweeted out to say all their gear got stolen, that's awful.

"She is trying so hard, she's doing great work, hitting the top of the charts all over the place, but to have your gear stolen like that...in a travel lodge in Wembley.

"They've cobbled together enough money to make the tour happen, in Brighton, the show must go on, everything was stolen, guitars, keyboards, must be thousands and thousands.

"Everything gone, all stolen from her.

"With any luck somebody somewhere will be able to help them either find them or fund them. I wish you well in your search."
