RTE 2FM presenter Blathnaid Treacy has welcomed her first child with her husband Charlie Moon.
The Bray native announced the birth of their daughter Nancy on Instagram today.
She wrote: “Nancy Claire Treacy-Mooney is here. Born on 28th June at 2.23pm, weighing 6lb 11oz and she is as cute as a button.
“Thank you for making us a family Nancy, we love you to the moon and back, forever and ever. Thank you for making me a mum @cha_moon_e, Nancy is the luckiest girl in the world to get to call you her dad, we love you endlessly."

The RTE presenter added: “She is the greatest love of our lives and the flipping image of her dad."
A number of celebs rushed to the comments section to congratulate Blathnaid and Charlie, with podcaster Louise McSharry writing: "Yay! Nancy is such a gorgeous name. Congrats."
Clementine MacNeice commented: “Awww gorgeous news! Huge congrats,” and Lyra wrote: “Congratulations lovely.”
James Patrice added: “Massive congrats gals!! Xx."
Blathnaid announced her pregnancy on social media in February, writing: “We can’t wait to meet you . Our little lady arrives this summer. Feeling so lucky and grateful.”
The presenter got engaged to Charlie Moon while enjoying a romantic trip to Mexico back in 2018. They tied the knot the following June in an intimate ceremony in the Wicklow mountains in front of 120 guests.
