RTE star Anna Geary has praised her time spent in Louth as she enjoyed a summer staycation with her husband, Kevin Sexton.
The camogie champion took to Instagram to share snaps of her trip and advise people on where they should visit if they take a trip to Ireland’s smallest county.
Anna decided to surprise her husband with a stay that was "a little different" as she chose a romantic mini-break at the luxurious Loughanmore Beach House in Lordship.
The couple stayed in a luxury private apartment on the grounds, facing the ocean with the sea just a few metres from the idyllic back deck of the property.
Anna shared a stunning snap on her Instagram where she appeared in a white bathrobe as she looked out at the sun set in the distance.

The Ireland’s Fittest Family coach described the experience as “so peaceful waking up to the sounds of the waves.”
The beach house is nestled in the beautiful grounds, which show the best of Irish nature and scenery with a dramatic backdrop sloping down to the shore of the Irish Sea.
The TV presenter gave her followers a glimpse of what the luxury private self-catering apartment looked like.
The apartment has an open wood fireplace and boasted floor to ceiling windows along the back of the accommodation providing an ideal view of the sea.
The back deck came complete with sun loungers, and an incredible hot tun allowed them to unwind from their busy schedules and relax.
Anna said, “It’s a gorgeous self catering one bedroom apartment, equipped with a hot tub and woodburner," she said.
"While it’s on a private estate, it’s surrounded by wildlife! And Carlingford is only a 15 minute drive from here."
However, it wasn’t all relaxing in the but tub for the pair as the sporting star made sure to squeeze in plenty of outdoor activities on their two day trip.
Anna said that she would definitely be returning to Louth with her husband as the couple spotted some potential sites in the local area.
