RTE Room to Improve viewers all left asking the same burning question after transformation 'masterpiece'

RTE Room to Improve viewers were all left asking the same question after Sunday night's programme.

This week saw architect Dermot Bannon transform a five-bedroom home located on the Blessington Lakes in Co. Wicklow.

The south-facing house boasted incredible views of the man-made lake, which left many viewers green with envy.

Couple Hilary and Paul hoped to transform Hilary's family home owned by her parents Carmel and Hugh.

Dermot was tasked with bringing the home up to modern standards and with building a new smaller house for Carmel and Hugh.

However, throughout the programme, viewers questioned what was happening with the parent's home as no footage was shown of their stable conversion.

Viewers took to Twitter to admit that they were left with one burning question at the end of the show.

They said: "Beautiful house & a fabulous job done by Dermot & the team. But what happened to Hilary's parent's house??? !!!"

Another wrote: "Really need to have seen the parents gaff too".

While a third said: "But the parents home?! The nosiness is killing me!"

And a fourth commented: "Really wanted to see an update on the parents house!"

However, it appears viewers won't have to wait too long to get an answer to their question as Dermot himself responded to one person as they expressed their wish to see the results.

Replying to the viewer, Dermot said: "Next series!!"

The build also managed to come in under budget, which shocked most viewers as it does not often happen.

One viewer said: "Claire bringing it in under budget again… How does she do it?"

Another wrote: "When Dermot wins the budget fights".

While a third said: "Hang on is this the first recorded incident of the QS beating Dermot?!"
