RTE Prime Time investigates: Hyde And Seek ordered to close four Dublin crèches after breaches of child care standards

Hyde & Seek have been ordered to close four crèches in Dublin after an investigation found breaches of child care standards.

The company will be forced to close its services at Tolka Road, Shaw Street, Millbourne Avenue and Glasnevin by December 31.

The crèches featured in a controversial investigation by RTE's Prime Time which revealed horrifying breaches of regulations.

Tulsa said Hyde & Seek has 21 days to appeal the decision.

The Child and Family Agency said that it acknowledges parents will find themselves in the difficult position of finding alternative childcare providers in these areas, and that it has notified the Department of Children and Youth Affairs of their concerns.

Anne Davy, who owns the family-run business Hyde and Seek with her husband Peter and daughter Siobhan, has since stepped down as a result of findings from the Prime Time documentary.
