RTE are calling out for hairdressers, barbers and clients to take part in new documentary called “First Cuts”.
As hairdressers and barbers open their doors for the first time in three months on Monday, the broadcaster is planning to capture the historic moment across the country.
From fear to excitement, First Cuts will capture the wide array of emotions that are bound to take place as stylists in Ireland see what their long-time customers have done with their hair during quarantine.
And with DIY fringes, buzz cuts, fading colours, at-home highlight kits and tired extensions becoming the norm and causing some controversy over price, fly on the wall documentary is sure to be a cut above the rest!
Meanwhile, for those erring on the side of caution, it will also give viewers an idea of how Irish salons have had to adapt to COVID-19 restrictions in 2020.
